April Native Plant Walk

Join Ruth Stornetta as we search for spring-blooming flowers, trees, and shrubs.  We should find rue anemone, star chickweed and heart-leaf ginger in bloom as well as see adder’s tongue fern, an unusual fern that is usually gone by summer. We may even catch a glimpse of the last blooms of bloodroot. Co-sponsored with the Jefferson Chapter, Virginia Native Plant Society.
